Considering that retiring from veterinary medication in 2017, Ive had more time to pursue my favored leisure activities: travel and photography. The pandemic has actually made travel more challenging but not hard. In October of 2021, I finally marked off a significant item on my container list: a journey to Peru.
What I didnt prepare for was a lot of animals! In every city, on nearly every street, I saw pet canines roaming, snoozing and playing.
In the Miraflores area of Lima, while walking along the Malecon, I saw a person tending to his 3 treasured Chihuahuas. I asked if I might take a photo, and they obediently presented on the wall overlooking the Pacific.
In Aguas Caliente, where Machu Picchu lies, I found a charming Peruvian Inca Orchid, the nationwide animal of Peru. A young family pet canine befriended me, following me inside the shop. I got my everyday family pet canine fix, and the owner made a sale.
While walking the Cusco streets as dusk approached, I found an animal sleeping by a door, under a rack of handmade bags and tassels. The dog barely opened an eye as I bent to his level and snagged my image, with the dynamic dining establishment in the background.

In Aguas Caliente, where Machu Picchu lies, I found a beautiful Peruvian Inca Orchid, the nationwide family pet of Peru. Due to the fact that … its hairless, its a head turner! This woman was a real stunner.
A young pet canine befriended me, following me inside the store. Was it a technique to get me to remain in the store longer? I got my daily family pet dog repair, and the owner made a sale.
My preferred location was Cusco, an attractive town with captivating cobblestone streets, whimsical shops and excellent dining facilities. While walking the Cusco streets as dusk approached, I discovered a family pet sleeping by a door, under a rack of handmade bags and tassels. The lighting was best, and I got my shot.
Doggies to the end
The journey ended in the charming seaside beach town of Paracas. The canine hardly opened an eye as I bent to his level and snagged my photo, with the vibrant restaurant in the background.
